(August 20, 2011)  DB Consulting Group, Inc. (DB) selected Alteran Technology, located in Chatsworth, California, as the service provider for the digitization of analogue video belonging to NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) as a part of the Information Technology and Multimedia Services contract, commonly referred to as ITAMS.

Alteran Technologies specializes in developing simple and sustainable workflow solutions to address large-scale audiovisual migration, digital asset management, and system integration for audiovisual collections. The company aims to provide outstanding end-to-end solutions that address the preservation and dissemination of large-scale audiovisual collections.

Alteran Technologies digitized analog videotapes to create both high resolution and low resolution proxy files, and transferred the files to LTO and hard drives.
