The Alteran Technologies ViTaDi-ACS breaks new ground by creating the ultimate software management tool for capturing.

The ACS workflow enables operators to capture from a wide array of databases or create their own. It allows the operation of both the Flexicart tape loading robot OR using a hand-barcode scanner and individual stand-alone tape machines. The ACS controls a Telestream Pipeline media capturing device, which can capture in several formats from DV to ProRes 4:2:2 and up to 4 channels simultaneously.

With an advanced real-time monitoring feature, the software plays back the original capture file to insure it is perfect during the capture process.

The ACS solution is powerful, extremely robust and can be installed on Mac based computers.

The Alteran Technologies product offering is an affordable, scalable video migration solution that enables the automated digitization of video content. Alteran Technologies’ automated robotic hardware/software video migration solution, ViTaDi, combines with the Telestream’s Pipeline™ network encoder to automate the process of simultaneously capturing and digitizing multiple videotapes and encoding them in real time to digital video files. Telestream’s Episode® Engine works in tandem with ViTaDi and Pipeline to begin transcoding the video files to additional formats while they are being encoded. The result is an extremely rapid and efficient means to capture, transcode, and deliver video in multiple video/audio file formats to media servers, digital archives and asset management systems.
